- The Lyman Maynard Stowe Library at the UConn Health Center houses over 48,000 books and 3,800 multimedia items, subscribes to nearly 1,700 online journals, and employs 38 staff and assistants.
- Construction of the Health Center's main campus began in 1966. The original building plans called for a massive, circular building originally contained about 1.2 million square feet, seven miles of corridors, and 2,000 rooms.
